The Davidson Center
Intimate events at the Southern Wall

Imagine being able to hold an intimate event at the Western Wall. Actually – why imagine?
Near the Dung Gate entrance, to the right of the path leading to the Western Wall and adjacent to the Southern Wall, is a stunningly beautiful archaeological garden, where worlds meet. This charming garden, which is filled with remnants and buildings from different eras, is located at the foot of the Western and Southern Wall, will transform your event from special to unforgettable.

The Davidson Center Archaeological Garden is home to findings from the days of the First and Second Temple, along with many other artefacts. Among the most exciting artefacts here, you’ll find the city wall from the time of the First Temple, the stairs leading up to the Temple, the original street from the Second Temple period, the stores and mikvehs that were used thousands of years ago by Jews of Jerusalem, pilgrims and others. Your event can take place amid these unique artefacts – an intimate event at the Southern Wall.

Behind every stone at this venue is a fascinating history. A history you’ll feel with every step, from the moment you set foot in the venue until you reach the chuppah, with every quiet prayer under the tallit at an Aliyah to the Torah, or with every glass you raise at a Bar and Bat Mitzvah. The garden offers a rich history, a magical atmosphere, a uniqueness and beauty that will stay with you and your guests.
